While attending the Peabody Conservatory, Mr. Dowling worked directly under the studio manager, Ed Tetreault, as a part of the team that provided studio sessions and concert recordings for the school community. Committed to the advancement of the audio arts, Dowling served as president for the University of New Haven's student section of the Audio Engineering Society. He organized their first trip to the annual AES Conference and elevated the group to Gold Status—a title that earned them additional funding and recognition across campus.

No stranger to performance, Patrick is an avid guitarist, singer, and songwriter himself. He has taken the stage with several bands and ensembles at some of Connecticut's most popular music venues, such as Toad's Place in New Haven and the Webster Theater in Hartford.

Patrick Dowling earned his Master of Arts in Audio Sciences from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, studying with Scott Metcalfe, Michael MacDonald, and Drew Mazurek. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Haven with bachelor’s degrees in both Sound Recording and Music Industry. His plans include attaining a more formal role in the college setting as an instructor of music and sound technology.
